John Neil Wood

John graduated from DePaul College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. He received a Juris Doctor from DePaul and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1997. During his time at DePaul, John discovered a passion that allowed him to focus on his desire to build a business and provide a meaningful service to his clients.
In 1997, John accepted a full-time position in wealth management with a prominent Chicago firm. After 20 years with that firm focusing on wealth preservation, management, and learning the wealth management industry, John made a friendly departure bringing with him the majority of his client base to successfully found Grant Park Advisors, LLC.
Grant Park Legal Advisors LLC offers streamlined legal services in Probate, Estate Planning, and Business Law. With approximately thirty years of experience in both wealth management and legal services, John leads his team with expertise and advocates for clients with utmost care.

In re Estate of Otto Moll, Cook County (2021)
Obtained a settlement exceeding $1 million for clients in a large probate estate with multiple contested issues.
The Northern Trust Company, as Trustee of the Robert C. Brown Decl. of Trust v. Leila Ruth Brown et al., Cook County (2020)
Obtained a settlement of $74,000 for client in litigation brought by the Trustee.
